Utilising projected digital drawing John has drawn on the built and natural environment and experimented with projected portraits.

Predominantly working with audio responsive software John has presented projection art experiences within the urban environment.

Working regularly with the Sunshine Coast Projection Art Group.

As artist and curator John works with a artists, cultural practitioners, and others to develop and deliver significant artistic events.

Often these are developed with community for one-off or festival programs

During the early 1980’s long-term collaborating artists, Warwick Healey, John Waldron and Neil Healey recognised that their raw and uninhibited approach to art was the result of a ‘fourth identity’. They attributed JN Dobelu as the liberated character free to explore subject and technique.
