Her expertise spans cultural planning, community engagement, and the development of innovative programs that strengthen social connection and cultural relevance.

    With a background in delivering public art strategies and community-led projects across civic, health, and urban environments, Susana brings a deep understanding of place identity and a strong commitment to equity and inclusion. As Director, she guides the strategic vision of Blue Sky View, ensuring each project fosters shared ownership, community pride, and meaningful cultural expression.

  • Dr John Waldron

    CREATIVE DIRECTOR / LEAD CURATOR

    John is a nationally and internationally experienced artist, curator, and educator with a proven record of leading ambitious, high-impact public art and exhibition programs. Over more than two decades, he has developed a reputation for delivering culturally resonant, community-informed outcomes across diverse environments, from major civic infrastructure and urban precincts to regional galleries and heritage settings.

    John’s expertise spans public art curation, exhibition curation and design, cultural heritage interpretation, and strategic stakeholder engagement. As Creative Director, he brings a sophisticated understanding of place, culture, and collaboration, ensuring every project is inclusive, distinctive, and deeply connected to its context.

  • Imelda Miller

    SPECIALIST CURATOR / CULTURAL ADVISOR Consulting Partner

    Imelda is an experienced curator, cultural practitioner, and community advocate with over 25 years working across the arts, heritage, and museum sectors. She is currently the Curator of First Nations Cultures at the Queensland Museum , where she specialises in Australian South Sea Islander and Torres Strait Islander histories, heritage, and identity. A third-generation Vanuatu descendant, Imelda’s practice is grounded in culturally safe engagement, community led research, and the co-creation of inclusive narratives.

    Working with creative content, material culture and archival collections, Imelda is committed to expanding access beyond traditional museum spaces. Her curatorial approach is collaborative and relational, underpinned by a deep commitment to cultural continuity, truth-telling, and representation.

  • Olivia Robinson

    SPECIALIST CURATOR / CULTURAL ADVISOR Consulting Partner

    With a love of collections and storytelling, Olivia Robinson has worked in cultural heritage and community engagement for 30 years. Olivia’s experience is as a manager, strategist, curator, researcher, and facilitator across libraries, museums, and the arts. She has contributed her knowledge and expertise to multiple leadership bodies advising government at all levels and across disciplines.

    Currently, Olivia leads exhibition curation and engagement with memory collections at a major state cultural institution while nurturing her own creative endeavours. Commencing a PhD at Griffith University in late 2025, Olivia is a former Queensland-Smithsonian Fellow. Olivia is a proud Bidjara woman whose traditional country is in southwest Queensland, and as coordinator of The Bidjara Language Project, is committed to saving her community’s language in this generation.

  • Jason Kahl

    FABRICATION & PRESERVATION SPECIALIST Consulting Partner

    Jason is a master fabricator with over 25 years’ experience delivering high-end, large-scale public artworks with leading artists, architects, and designers. His career spans urban masterplan projects, national royal memorials in the UAE, and landmark features for universities and cultural precincts. Skilled in pattern-making, foundry, finishing, fabrication, and installation, Jason guides complex works from concept to delivery. As Production Manager at UAP for a decade, he led 40+ craftsmen, managing design coordination, estimating, and operations.

    In 2020, he founded Crafted Fabrications, specialising in bespoke public artworks, exhibitions, and conservation. Collaborating with artists including Lindy Lee, Hanna Hoyne, and Chris Bassi, Jason blends creative intuition, precision, and leadership to deliver technically excellent works that honour the artist’s vision.

    Kieran Hackett is a highly respected fabrication and preservation specialist with over two decades of experience working across public art, cultural heritage, and the built environment. With deep expertise in materials (metals), structural systems, and conservation techniques, Kieran brings a rigorous and solutions-focused approach to the realisation, installation, and long-term care of artworks in diverse settings.

    His collaborative practice supports artists, architects, and curators to deliver technically sound, durable, and visually compelling outcomes. As a Consulting Partner with Blue Sky View, Kieran plays a key role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and legacy of public artworks from concept to maintenance.
