Public Art Curation

  • Kai Tak Sports Park

The Hundred Senses Public Art Program at Kai Tak Sports Park, Hong Kong, reimagines how art can activate public space and elevate major infrastructure. Conceived as an immersive cultural experience woven through Asia’s premier sports and entertainment precinct, the program invites visitors to engage with Kai Tak through sight, sound, touch, and reflection.

Drawing on the area’s rich aviation history, its evolving identity, and the energy of its vibrant community, Hundred Senses integrates bold, contemporary artworks that spark curiosity and create moments of connection across the precinct. Through sensory interaction and site-specific commissions, the program transforms the Sports Park into more than a venue, it becomes a cultural landmark that resonates with locals and visitors alike.

As Curator and Program Lead, Blue Sky View, led by John Waldron, shaped the vision and strategy for this landmark initiative. From artist selection and curation to guiding concept development and overseeing integration, Blue Sky View ensured that every commission reflects both artistic excellence and a deep connection to place.

Working closely with Populous and the Kai Tak Sports Park Art Team, we championed collaboration between artists, architects, and designers, ensuring that art is not an add-on, but a defining, embedded part of the precinct's identity.

Hundred Senses stands as a testament to what’s possible when cultural vision, artistic integrity, and world-class design come together.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
